සප්ත විශුද්ධි
පූජ්‍ය නාවල ධම්මානන්ද හිමි
බෞද්ධයාගේ පරම පැතුම නිවන යි. ඒ සඳහා සතර මාර්ග ඤාණ ලබාගත යුතු වෙයි. ඊට ළඟාවීමේ මාර්ගයක් ලෙස මෙම ‘සප්ත විශුද්ධි ප්‍රතිපදාව ‘ හඳුන්වා දිය හැකිය. ‘විශුද්ධිය ‘ යනු පිරිසුදු බවයි. සසර සැරිසරන විට නිරන්තරයෙන් කෙලෙස් නමැති මලවලින් අපිරිසුදු වන පෘථග්ජන සත්වයාගේ සිත විශේෂයෙන් පිරිසුදු බවට පත්කරන ධර්ම ‘විශුද්ධි ධර්ම’ ලෙස හඳුන්වන අතර, එවැනි කාරණා හතක් එහි දැක්වෙයි. මෙය, ‘සප්ත විශුද්ධිය ‘ ලෙස හඳුන්වනු ලැබේ.

හරි දැක්ම
දන්කන්දේ ධම්මරතන හිමි
නිවන් ලැබීමට නම්, අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම ආර්ය අෂ්ඨාංගික මාර්ගයේ ගුණ ධර්ම දියුණු කර ගත යුතු ම යි. එහි පළමුවෙනි අංගය වශයෙන් තමයි සම්මා දිට්ඨිය බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ දක්වලා තිබෙන්නේ.
“තුම්හේ හි කිච්චං ආතප්පං” අක්ඛාතාරෝ තථාගතා”
කියලා දැක්වූ පාඨයක් තිබෙනවා බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ විසින්. ඔබලා ඔබලා විසින්ම උත්සාහ ගත යුතු යි. බුදු වරුන්, නැත්නම් බුදු හාමුදුරුවන්ගේ ශ්‍රාවකයන් මාර්ගය කියා දීම පමණයි කරන්නේ. ඒක නිසා මේ ආර්ය අෂ්ඨාංගික මාර්ගයේ ගුණ ධර්ම මේ අය විසින් ම දියුණු කර ගත යුතු යි කියන අදහස තරයේ සිතට කාවද්දවා ගත යුතු යි. නිවන් ලැබීමට නම් මා විසින් අනිවාර්යයෙන් ම මේ ආර්ය අෂ්ඨාංගික මාර්ගයේ ගුණ ධර්ම දියුණු කර ගත යුතු ම යි කියන අදහසේ පිහිටලා, ඒ ගුණ ධර්ම දියුණු කර ගන්නට උත්සාහ ගන්නට ඕනෑ. ඒ ගුණ ධර්ම දියුණු කර ගත යුතු වන්නේ තම තමා විසින් ම යි. වෙන කෙනකුට ඒවා කරලා දෙන්නට බැහැ. සම්මා දිට්ඨිය කියන්නේ මේකයි කියලා විස්තර වශයෙන් කරුණු ඉදිරිපත් කරන්නට මට පුළුවන්. නමුත් මේ අය සතු යි ඒ කරුණු තමා ම අවබෝධ කර ගන්නා එක.
මේ අවබෝධය කියන එක දැනීමක් නො වෙයි. පොතක් පතක් කියවලා, දේශනයක් අහලා ලබා ගන්නා සංඥාවක් නො වෙයි. තමාගේම සිත තුළින් ඇති කර ගත යුතු අවබෝධයක්. ඒ අවබෝධය – සම්මා දිට්ඨිය පිළිබඳ පවත්නා ඒ යථාවබෝධය – නැත්නම් නිවන් දකින්නට බැහැ. නිවන් දකින්නේ සම්මා දිට්ඨිය හරියට පැහැදිලිව ප්‍රත්‍යක්ෂ ලෙස භාවනාවෙන් අත්දැකීම තුළින්.

Ven Ajaan Mahã Boowa Ñãõasampanno Thero
The Dhamma of the Lord Buddha was expounded correctly and properly. It was not hidden or obscure but was presented according to the truths existing on every level of Dhamma. Itproclaims, for example, that virtue and vice, hell, heaven and Nibbãna really do exist, that kilesas are true, that they are real and that they prevail just like the other more apparent things. There are no contradictions, so why are these things a problem for us?
The Dhamma was openly presented. There was nothing esoteric and mystical about it. It was expounded entirely in accordance with truth – the facts that actually exist. It was presented on every level of truth, and yet we cannot understand it.

Heart pumps blood all by itself without you doing it….Lungs breathe air all by themselves without you doing it…. We have mistakenly identified ourselves as being the physical mind/body.
But thinking about that will not help you. Realize/Experience that.!

Unduvap is the last full moon Poya day according to the Sinhala Buddhist calendar. This year’s Unduvap Poya falls on Monday 20th December.
The unique event of bringing the Bo-sapling of the sacred Jayasiri Maha Bodhi from India to Anuradhapura, took place 2552 years ago on an Unduvap Full Moon Poya Day.
As true Buddhists let us follow the Pancha-Sila, on the Unduvap Full Moon Poya Day and abstain from destroying living beings, taking things not given, abstain from sexual misconduct and false speech, abstain from taking anything that causes intoxication or heedlessness. Every Buddhist should observe these Five Precepts in order to elevate himself morally and spiritually.

අපි දෙමාපියන්ට සලකමු අද සමාජයේ බොහෝ දෙනෙක් දෙමාපියන්ට සලකන්නේ නෑ අම්මා කියන්නේ ගෙදර සිටින්නා වු දෙවනි බුදුන්ට සමාන කර ඇත නමුත් අදවන විට එය හාත්පසින්ම වෙනස් තත්වයක් මතු වී ඇත මොකද තාත්තාට අම්මාට ගහල පන්නන සමාජ වටපිටාවක් පවතින බැවින් නමුත් යතාර්තය නම් දෙමාපියන් අපව හදාවඩාගෙන අපට නිසි අධ්‍යාපනයක් දී අපට නිසිමග පෙන්වීමක් කරන්නේද අපේ අම්මා හා තාත්තාය නමුත් දරුවන් උස්මහත්වී තනියෙන් ජීවිතය ගතකරන විට තමන් ඒ තත්වයට ආවේ කෙසේද යන්න අද වන විට දරුවන්ට අමතක වන සමාජයකි.
වැඩිහිටි නිවාස ඉදිවෙන්නේ ඇයි? මේ තත්වය අද වන විට උදාවෙලා තියෙන්නේ දෙමාපියන්ට නොසලකන පුද්ගලයින් සමාජයේ සිටින නිසාය. එම නිසා තමයි අද වැඩිහිටි නිවාස මහලු නිවාස රට පුරා පැතිර යන්නට එකම හේතුව මෙයයි. මේ තත්වයට ඇද වැටෙන්නේ බෝහෝ දුරට තමන්ට තනියෙම යැපෙන්නට නොහැකි වුන අවස්ථාවක් උදාවුන විටය.
