දශ අකුසලයේ– (1 – 10)ප්‍රාණාතිපාතය
රේරුකානේ චන්ද්විමල මහනාහිමියන් විසින් රචිත බෞද්ධයගේ අත්පොත නම් කෘතියෙන් දශ අකුසලය සම්බන්දව පලකර කොටසින් (පිටු අංක 49 සිට 56) පිටපත්කර ඉදිරිපත් කරනලදී. දශ අකුසල් වලින් මුලින්ම එන ප්‍රාණාතිපාතය ගැන සදහන් ඉතාමත් අගනා විස්තරය උන්වහන්සේට උපහාරයක් පිණිස සහ සියල්ලන්ගේ ධර්මාවබෝධය පිනිස ඉදිරිපත් කරමී. ඉතිරි අකුසල ධර්මය කොටස් වශයෙන් ඉදිරි සති වලදී පලකෙරෙණු ඇත.
සත්වයෙකුගේ ජීවිතට පැවතිය යුතු කල පවත්වන්නට නොදී යම් කිසි උපක්‍රමයකින් විනාශ කිරීම ප්‍රාණාතිපාත නම් වේ. ප්‍රාණඝාතය යනු එයටම නමෙකි.
දැනට දශ අකුසලය සම්බන්දව නොයෙකුත් කෘති,සහ ලිපි පලවී තිබුනත් ඉතාමත් සවිස්තරව,සරළ බසින් ජීවිතයට ළංකර ගත හැකි ආකාරයෙන් කියා දුන්නේ සියවසකට පෙර අපේ රටේ පහළ වූ ති‍්‍රපිටක ධාරියකු මෙන් ම බුදු දහමේ ප‍්‍රායෝගික කි‍්‍රයා මාර්ගය ද ජයගත් රේරුකානේ නා හිමියෝයි.

Kamma—or in its Sanskrit form, karma—is the Buddhist conception of action as a force which shapes and transforms human destiny.
